THE ORIGINAL CAKERIE®

The Original Cakerie® is the industry leader in premium cakes and pioneer of the famous Multi-Layer Bar Cake. Made with real ingredients — including fresh fruit, real whipped cream, scratch-made sponge cake, and couverture chocolate — the brand’s desserts are as visually stunning as they are delicious.

The Original Cakerie’s rich heritage goes back to 1979, when founders Doug McFetridge and Kent Norris crafted a carrot cake that became a mainstay at local restaurants. Decades later, their tradition of amazing desserts lives on as a centerpiece of the Dessert Holdings family. Today, we continue to honor their legacy with premium-quality cakes crafted for the demands of leading restaurants and retailers across North America.

LAWLER'S DESSERTS®

Lawler’s Desserts is known for the richest, most premium cheesecakes and as the creator of the legendary Colossal Cheesecake. Crafted using original recipes and real cream cheese, their desserts have delighted guests for nearly three decades at restaurants across North America.  


The brand’s story began with Bill and Carol Lawler, who in 1997 developed their iconic cheesecake recipe with only one mixer and a small oven. Carol famously sold this original dessert to a well-known retailer at the Texas State Fair—and the rest is history. Now, Dessert Holdings continues the Lawlers' tradition with a full array of Colossal Cheesecakes, decadent cakes, pies, and other signature desserts.

ATLANTA CHEESECAKE COMPANY®

Atlanta Cheesecake Company is recognized as a pioneer in premium cheesecakes for the retail market and creator of the first multi-flavor cheesecake sampler produced on a commercial scale. Their versatile, premium cheesecakes are made with real cream cheese, real strawberry purée, and no artificial flavors or preservatives in a range of packaging sizes.

 

Atlanta Cheesecake Company’s story began in 1988 on the Van der Blom family farm where founder Meg Sapp turned her grandmother’s cheesecake recipe into a beloved local favorite. That legacy grew to include innovative new formats, large and mini sizes, and a range of seasonal flavors — traditions Dessert Holdings proudly carries on today.

Steven Charles is famous for iconic specialty desserts that deliver premium indulgence at scale. From their iconic cake pops and cake balls to signature cookies, elevated dessert bites, brownies, and molten cakes, the brand’s bespoke creations set the highest standard for innovation in the premium category.  

 

Founded by master baker Steven Fabos and partner Charles Kosmont in a small kitchen in 1995, Steven Charles defines gourmet dessert for some of the most compelling brands in the industry. DIANNE'S FINE DESSERTS®

Dianne’s is an industry leader in premium desserts for broadline foodservice distributors that serve an array of independent restaurants coast to coast. The brand’s chef-inspired creations, featuring mini molten cakes and signature tiramisu, are made from original recipes using only the highest quality ingredients.


Dianne’s Fine Desserts was born through a combination of two respected regional dessert makers: Dianne’s Gourmet Desserts from Minnesota (1985) and Alden Merrell Fine Desserts from Massachusetts (1976). Both brands shared a commitment to crafting premium desserts and this passion laid the foundation for Dianne’s reputation as a leader in culinary excellence. Today, as part of Dessert Holdings, Dianne’s continues to elevate dessert offerings across restaurants nationwide.

KENNY'S GREAT PIES®

Kenny’s is renowned for its authentic, fresh cream pies, featuring the only key lime pie on the market made with fresh-squeezed key limes. Their vibrant selection of pies is made with the highest-quality ingredients and is celebrated by retailers and restaurants nationwide.

The story of Kenny’s Great Pies began with Kenny Burts, who fell in love with Key Lime Pie during family Florida trips. Unable to find similar quality in Atlanta, he experimented with key limes from his grandparents' tree. In 1989, Kenny founded the company, making the pies out of his house for a local restaurant and bar, squeezing the fresh lime juice by hand. The pies caught the attention of other local restaurants, and the business expanded into a thriving operation in Atlanta, Georgia. Today, Dessert Holdings carries forward Kenny’s signature key lime pie recipe made with fresh-squeezed key limes and many other innovative flavors with the same uncompromising quality.
